Beginner’s Guide to Publishing

Salient Features This project was envisaged keeping in mind, postgraduates and young urologist who form the backbone of medical fraternity, both at the zonal and the national level. This is an initiative of the Publication cell of Urological Society of India—West Zone (USIWZ). Chapters are authored by members of USIWZ . The book gives a bird`s eye view of all aspects of publishing and presenting in a concise and easy to understand manner. The topics covered include the role of ethics committee, formulating a study question, IMRaD, plagiarism, and the nitty gritties of the options available to publish. The uniqueness of the book lies in the QR coded videos available on finger tips for the readers on topics such as: ○How to do PubMed search? ○ How to do referencing in a manuscript? ○ How to submit article? The book would be useful to postgraduates and young consultants of all the specialities.
