Indian Pediatrics’ :Current Trends in Medical Education (Volume 1)

Medical education is a rapidly expanding field and the same has received a further fillip with the introduction of the competency-based medical education curriculum by the Medical Council of India. Nodal centers and regional centers of medical education are already conducting workshops on the revised basic course workshop and curriculum implementation support program (CISP), and advanced training on medical education is also available through these centers. However, material related to recent medical education trends is still not available in a composite form for the trainees in this field. Indian Pediatrics regularly publishes topical reviews by subject experts on medical education topics. These are an important source of detailed information on these topics, and their applicability to the Indian setting. These published papers are now available at one place in book form for easier reading for all medical faculty, especially those interested in medical education. Publication of the second edition of the book underscores the need and popularity of the first edition.
