First chapter gives a brief account of the Anatomy and Physiology of the Eye which is essential to understand eye diseases.Second chapter describes in detail the Role of a nurse in the care of ophthalmic patients. Eye diseases have been covered in a concise way with an emphasis on nursing care. Role of a nurse as a Community eye health worker has also been discussed.
