Otorhinolaryngology, head and neck surgery is a specialty of great diversity that deals with a vast range of clinical problems in patients from all age groups. Not only do we have such diversity now but there is also increasing pressure for sub specialization, and knowledge will become compartmentalized from one specialist to another.
